UESP — Unified Emotion State Packet

UESP is the emotional artifact that captures understanding, integrity, and care, all in one verifiable structure.

What is UESP?

The Unified Emotion State Packet (UESP™) is the validated emotional object created by MEC — the final form of interpreted emotional meaning, bundled with context, strategy, ethics, and identity.

Every response MEC generates is built upon a UESP.
It doesn’t just describe the emotion — it defines its trajectory, its origin, its cultural alignment, and its ethical safeguards.

This is how MEC makes empathy not only intelligent, but auditable.

Where It Lives in the System

UESP is generated by ERIS and passed forward to the FEC for fusion into a system output.
It’s also logged for emotional memory, Recovery Mode escalation, and long-term audit tracing.

Feeds into:

  • FEC for prompt synthesis

  • Recovery Manager for conditional safety routing

  • Session memory for emotional continuity

  • EmotionID assignment for traceability

Why It Matters

The emotional realism of MEC would mean nothing if it couldn’t be captured and preserved.
UESP is the container of emotional truth — carrying not just what was felt, but why it mattered, how it was handled, and whether it aligned with human emotional safety.

It makes every emotional response transparent, trackable, and teachable.
