To ensure that Functional Empathy, emotional truth, and relational safety are protected and practiced across institutions, technologies, and human lives.
The Foundation operates as the moral and emotional center of HEART, separate from commerce, but inseparable from consequence.

Certifies HEART Guardians, educators, and aligned practitioners
Oversees all HEART Certification marks (e.g., Compliant™, Aligned™, Guardian-Ready™)
Reviews and protects the Emotional Codex, Recovery Arcs, and Intervention Strategies
Hosts trauma-informed and culturally adaptive empathy initiatives
Partners with cities, mental health organizations, schools, and public policy coalitions
Publishes ethical protocols for emotional AI governance
Ensures every decision passes through the HEART Code of Care
How It’s Governed
The HEART Foundation is powered by two key arms:
Advisory Body
A rotating council of global experts in:

Oversees certification standards, mark revocations, and strategic guidance.
Ethical Review Board (ERB)
Approves Codex entries for cultural expression
Audits recovery and intervention protocols for harm
Independently investigates ethical violations by HEART-aligned systems
Cannot be overridden by any for-profit entity, including HeartCore™
Independence & Integrity
The HEART Foundation operates independently from HeartCore, the licensing and enterprise branch.
HeartCore builds the infrastructure.
The Foundation protects the soul.
This structure ensures public trust, ethical transparency, and long-term human alignment — no matter how fast the world moves.
Certification Governance
All use of HEART Certification Marks must comply with active status and proper usage guidelines.
Unauthorized, expired, or deceptive use of the marks is subject to immediate revocation.
Certification standards may evolve — but must pass a 2/3 advisory vote and be published publicly.
