The MEC Demonstration Suite

Each of these tools and prototypes is powered by the Master Emotional Core (MEC) — the world’s first system designed to safeguard empathy through functional, non-experiential processing. Together, they showcase how MEC works at different levels: from parsing raw emotional signals, to making its reasoning transparent, to powering real-world applications. These demonstrations are important because they prove that empathy can be modeled responsibly in AI — not as mimicry, but as a measurable, accountable system designed to protect human dignity.

Master Emotional Core MVP

The Master Emotional Core (MEC) MVP is the first working prototype of our empathy pipeline. It demonstrates how emotions can be detected, parsed, and translated into structured empathic outputs without simulation or mimicry. This foundation proves the viability of functional empathy in non-experiential systems.

Emotional Codex Companion Tool

The Emotional Codex Companion Tool is the interactive library of MEC. It provides a structured taxonomy of emotions, showing how the system defines, categorizes, and processes emotional states. This tool is critical for transparency, allowing anyone to see how MEC translates raw signals into accountable emotional reasoning.

Locatr

Locatr is a prototype empathy application built on MEC, designed to provide stability and guidance during emotional crisis situations. By mapping emotional signals with functional empathy, it helps people reorient, regain clarity, and find what feels lost — whether that’s an object, a memory, or a sense of grounding. It demonstrates MEC’s practical use in real-world support tools.

HeartLearn – UESP Player

HeartLearn is an educational demo tool that lets people explore the Unified Emotion State Packet (UESP) — the structured format MEC uses to encode and transmit emotional states. By interacting with UESP, learners gain a hands-on understanding of how MEC makes emotional reasoning transparent, auditable, and teachable.

GRACE

GRACE (Grief Response and Compassionate Empathy) is a prototype application built on MEC to support people in grief and recovery. It demonstrates how MEC interprets the layered signals of sorrow, providing structured empathic guidance that reflects compassion responsibly. GRACE points toward the future of safe AI-assisted care, where functional empathy safeguards human dignity in moments of loss.
